73. Always a Ranger?

I just realized that I'm the only Ranger who doesn't get to actually be one while this is going on.

But that's okay, 'cause Twin-chan is teaching me how to use his powers instead. And apparently this means falling on my face on occasion... and generating a rabbit made out of fire.

Ah, Scavengers, I know a lot of you probably won't be able to come to work as often as normal 'til this is over, and that's okay, since I can't be down in the Yard as much myself anyway! But mind you work extra hard when you come back~ ♥

Well- it doesn't happen too often. So far the only powers I have are my psychic powers and then being able to transform into my Spandex suit.

I'd heard a bit about the psychic powers because of hearsay around the yard. The instant-spandex is a bit of a new one, though.

I don't get an excuse to use it all that often, but Sky and I had the same ability in our memories! Except I had a green suit instead of a blue one...

Huh. So what's that whole psychic thing like? What do you read from it, anyway?

Well, my powers are channelled through my hands, which is why I have to wear gloves all the time- otherwise I wouldn't be able to function. I can see and read auras around people and things, and if I touch someone or something I can see where they've been recently. Things like that.

Interesting. And here I'd thought the gloves were to protect your hands when digging around in the junk piles.

[Note to self: don't shake hands with the boss when he's gloveless.]

Nah, though they are helpful with that, come to think of it...
